Alternating shifts – Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm;
Fri 6am-1pm / 1pm-8pm
Bonus:
Up to 4%

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join an established manufacturing organisation in Bridgwater.
You will work as part of a skilled maintenance team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs and fault-finding across a range of manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults.
- Fault-find using electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Maintain motors, drives, sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
- Support machinery installation, modifications and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Follow all relevant health & safety procedures.
The successful candidate will have a strong practical maintenance background within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You should have experience in:
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Electrical fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems.
- Reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent are advantageous.
Package- Salary up to £42,000 depending on experience.
