About Bridgerland Technical College

Bridgerland Technical College is one of Utah's eight technical colleges. We provide high-quality, technical education to those in the Bear River Region. We prepare students for successful careers through hands-on skills and learning opportunities.

What You'll Do

As a Faculty and Staff Administrative Assistant, you'll provide essential administrative and student support services that help keep campus operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

Student & Customer Support

Serve as the first point of contact for students, visitors, and community members.

Welcome and assist visitors, directing them to appropriate departments and resources.

Provide information regarding registration, student orientation, and financial aid resources.

Deliver exceptional customer service to new and continuing students.

Assist students with registration, scheduling, and navigating college processes.

Administrative & Clerical Support
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain student files, records, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Process and verify the accuracy of technical paperwork and student documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
  • Operate office equipment and coordinate supply orders.
  • Communicate and coordinate building needs.
  • Assist with campus events and activities.
  • Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Experience working with databases, records management systems, or student information systems.

Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
