Position: Financial Services Specialist (Member Support)

Elevate Credit Union is looking for a full-time Financial Services Specialist to join our Member Support team in Brigham.

This position combines exceptional customer service with specialized operational work in a professional office environment. You'll help members through phone and digital service channels while also investigating account concerns, supporting electronic banking services, monitoring fraud-related activity, researching transactions, and processing important account functions that keep the credit union running smoothly.

This is an on-site position based in Brigham and is not remote or hybrid.

What You’ll Do

No two days are exactly the same. A typical day may include assisting members with online and mobile banking questions, helping resolve debit/credit card or account concerns, researching transaction issues, processing account maintenance requests, reviewing fraud alerts or suspicious activity, and supporting daily account and payment processing functions. You'll also proactively contact members regarding fraud concerns, electronic services, and account-related matters.

Some parts of the day involve focused operational work behind the scenes, while other times involve assisting members through phone and digital service channels.

In This Role, You Will
  • Deliver exceptional service and support to our members
  • Research and resolve account, transaction, and electronic banking questions
  • Perform detailed operational and account-related work accurately and efficiently
  • Help protect member accounts by identifying potential fraud and following established security procedures
  • Balance customer service, accuracy, confidentiality, and security in your daily work
  • Manage a variety of responsibilities while adapting to changing priorities throughout the day
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to support credit union operations
  • Take ownership of problems and help members find solutions

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least two years of successful experience in banking, financial services, customer service, administrative, or other professional office environments is required
  • Banking experience is helpful but not required. We provide comprehensive training in our systems and processes. Successful candidates will already have a proven history of professionalism, dependability, strong customer service, and success in a professional work environment.
Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday shifts between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Rotating Saturdays required (typically 1–2 per month, from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM)
  • When you work a Saturday, you’ll receive time off during the following week to offset those hours.
