One of our manufacturing clients is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a strong Chemical Engineering background to support and optimize manufacturing processes in Brigham City,UT
Pay Rate: $130k - $140k
Shift: Days
Responsibilities- Develop, optimize, and improve chemical manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, energy consumption, and operating costs
- Analyze production data and process trends to identify issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain process specifications, operating procedures, process documentation, and technical standards
- Provide technical support to production and operations teams for process-related challenges
- Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of process deviations and recurring production issues
- Support equipment modifications, process upgrades, and capital improvement projects
- Assist with commissioning and start-up of new equipment and processes
- Work with Quality and Operations teams to ensure processes consistently meet product specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of process engineering experience within a chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, process controls, material balances, and manufacturing operations
- Experience in chemical processing, specialty chemicals, polymers, coatings, materials, or related manufacturing environments
- Experience with PLC/DCS process control systems
