Registered Nurse; RN – Clinical Oversight

Overview

Position Overview Ascend Home Health & Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight services in a part-time capacity for The Gables Assisted Living in Brigham City. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, clinical guidance, and quality assurance across partner facilities and programs supported by Ascend Health. The Oversight RN serves as a trusted clinical resource, ensuring high standards of care while supporting staff, leadership, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide RN oversight in accordance with state and regulatory requirements

• Conduct chart reviews, audits, and clinical documentation oversight

• Complete resident/client assessments and participate in care planning as required

• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards

• Provide clinical guidance and consultation to care teams and leadership

• Support quality improvement initiatives and corrective action planning

• Participate in surveys, inspections, and compliance reviews as needed

• Serve as a clinical liaison with providers, facilities, and Ascend Health leadership

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah

• Previous experience in clinical oversight, home health, hospice, assisted living, or long-term care preferred

• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards

• Excellent assessment, documentation, and clinical judgment skills

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented approach
