Heavy Equipment Operator​/Foreman Pipe Crew

RJT Excavating is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Pipe Crew Foreman to lead underground utility crews on residential and civil construction projects throughout northern Utah. • Lead and supervise pipe crews installing:
• Storm drain
• Sewer
• Water main
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes
• Coordinate daily tasks with project managers and superintendents
• Ensure production goals are met on schedule
• Maintain OSHA safety standards on site
• Operate heavy equipment as needed
• Manage materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently
• Train and mentor crew members

• 5+ years experience in underground utilities
• 2+ years experience as a foreman or lead
• Strong knowledge of grade, elevations, and trench safety
• Ability to run crews of 3–8 employees
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong communication and leadership skills
