TURN Community Services was founded in 1973 by a group of parents who wanted better services for their adult children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide resources to more than 850 individuals with developmental disabilities across locations from Brigham City to St. George, offering day programs, residential living, art center programs, summer camp, and supported employment opportunities.

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, you support individuals with developmental disabilities in living their lives to the fullest and as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living such as medication assistance, hygiene, grooming, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and housekeeping. You provide life‑skills training with financial and behavior management strategies, help them access and participate in the community, support employment, build relationships, and engage in recreational activities.

You model appropriate social skills and behaviors, nurturing self‑fulfilling lives for those you support.

• 18 years old or older
• Valid driver's license (personal vehicle preferred)
• Ability to drive large vehicles

We look for someone who is punctual, reliable, self‑disciplined, and able to keep track of multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, discretion with confidential information, compassion while maintaining professional boundaries, calmness, flexibility, patience, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.

• Part‑time shifts:
  Saturday 8:00 am–2:00 pm;
  Sunday 8:00 am–2:00 pm
• Full‑time shifts (32 hrs/week):
  Friday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm;
  Saturday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm;
  Sunday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm;
  Monday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm
• Part‑time overnight shift (20 hrs/week):
  Friday 10:00 pm–8:00 am Saturday;
  Saturday 10:00 pm–8:00 am Sunday
• Shifts can be mixed and matched (morning shifts are 6 hrs, swing shifts are 8 hrs)
