Experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a strong foundation in commercial pipe fitting/ Chillers / Pumps to oversee mechanical upgrades strictly within a the Amex Brighton Stadium.

This role is specifically centred around like-for-like Stadium boiler room, plant roommodernisations,& critical Environments. This is not a domestic plumbing role; it requires a high-level commercial pipe fitting supervisor who understands the complexities of maintaining service continuity in high-occupancy hospitality environments.

• Plant Room Upgrade:
  Supervise and install like-for-like boiler replacements and new pump sets within operational hotel plant room.
• System Modifications:
  Oversee complex pipework modifications, ensuring correct implementation of reverse return layouts to maintain balanced water flow across multiple boiler units.
• Valves & Controls:
  Manage the configuration of heavy-duty commercial valving (isolation valves, non-return/check valves, PRVs, and zone control valves).
• H&S & Co-ordination:
  Supervising contractors, bringing them through to working stations, checking quality, how they are working, and what they are doing in sensitive areas.
• BMS & Commissioning:
  Coordinate with BMS upgrades, utilize PT ports (test/balancing nipples) for pressure/flow diagnostics, and oversee full system commissioning to safely bring new boilers online.
• Site Supervision:
  Act as the competent onsite supervisor, managing health and safety, coordinating sub-contractors, and liaising with hotel management to minimise guest disruption.

• Qualifications:
  
  Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) & CSCS Card is essential.
• Background:
  Proven, extensive background in commercial pipe fitting and industrial plumbing.
• Plant Room Expertise:
  Direct experience managing like-for-like boiler replacements in commercial plant rooms (ideally hotels, hospitals, or large student accommodation blocks).
• Technical Knowledge:
  Flawless understanding of hydronic flow principles, direct vs. reverse returns, secondary pump sets, and control valve
