Role Description
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and administrative operations. This role is responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and performing high-volume data entry with precision. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers and deadlines. Position is located in Commerce City/Brighton area and is Part-Time (24 hours weekly) with the ability for flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect invoices, sort, send for approval, and enter into accounting software
  • Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Track lien waivers, W-9s, insurance certificates, and vendor compliance documents
  • Process new hire paperwork
  • Time card entry
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for accounting department
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • 1–3 years of accounts payable, accounting, or data entry experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with subcontractor pay applications and billing
  • Experience in a fast-paced construction environment
