Combination Inspector -III

A candidate’s qualifications, certifications, and experience will determine the level at which they are hired. The Combination Inspector I–III performs technical inspection work to ensure compliance with applicable International Code Council (ICC) codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), County ordinances, and related regulations governing residential, commercial, and industrial construction.

Positions in this series report to the Combination Inspector Supervisor. Employees in this series are expected to maintain current knowledge of adopted building codes, construction practices, safety standards, and inspection methodologies. Ongoing training, professional development, and maintenance of required certifications are essential functions of each level within the series.
