Eagle Ridge Academy (ERA) is seeking a highly skilled High School Spanish Teacher to provide engaging, standards-aligned instruction in entry-level Spanish courses. The ideal candidate will build strong foundations in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural understanding while creating a classroom environment that promotes confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This role is well-suited for an educator who values structured instruction, clear expectations, and helping students develop practical language skills that prepare them for continued study.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license or enrollment in an alternative licensure program by start date.

Endorsement or qualifications for teaching secondary Spanish.

Ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.

The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. (Having respect and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching sustainable.)

The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).

A belief in empowering all children as owners of their own learning.
