Vikan Middle School, a 27J School, is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered 6th Grade English Language Arts Teacher to join our team. Vikan Middle School is a traditional middle school with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, restorative practices, and meaningful learning experiences that empower students to think critically, communicate effectively, and grow as learners. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) opportunity for an educator who is passionate about literacy, believes in the power of student voice, and is committed to helping students develop the reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills necessary for success in school and beyond.

Use Data to Drive Instruction

Monitor student progress, analyze data, and provide targeted support to ensure all students continue to grow and achieve at high levels.

Work closely with grade-level teams, interventionists, and support staff to create aligned and responsive learning experiences for students.

• Colorado Department of Education “In Field” by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach the posted subject area
