Benefitted Middle School Substitute Teacher - Vikan Middle School - FY

Substitute Teacher Position

School District 27J is seeking a full-time certified substitute teacher for the  school year. If selected you will work at Vikan Middle School every day covering teacher absences as assigned. Position is 162.5 days (7:30-4:30 T-F) Paid at a daily rate of $194/day for the  school year

Duties and Responsibilities:

Substitute teachers must be flexible in regards to where and how often they work within your specific building. Substitute teachers must be able to accept assignments with very little notice. Substitute teachers must continue a high quality learning environment in their classroom.

Requirements:
Substitute teachers must hold a substitute authorization or teaching license from the Colorado Department of Education valid through June 3, 2027

Experience:

Experience working with students in a classroom setting is preferred, but not required. Successful substitute teachers must have a passion for teaching, and have a desire to work with a diverse group of children.
