What You'll Do As a Vikan Science Teacher, you will:

• Design rigorous, standards-aligned learning experiences that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
• Create a classroom where students investigate, experiment, collaborate, and communicate like real scientists.
• Empower students to take ownership of their learning by setting goals, reflecting on progress, and embracing productive struggle.
• Build a positive classroom culture where every learner feels seen, valued, and challenged.
• Use formative assessment and student evidence to adapt instruction and maximize growth.

This is a full-time, or 1.0 FTE position.

Required Qualifications:

A valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching License. Colorado Department of Education "In Field" by CDE endorsement or qualifications to teach the posted subject area. The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously. The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
