Instructional Paraprofessional

Instructional Paraprofessional at Meadow Ridge Elementary  (2 Positions Available) Under the direction of a licensed teacher, responsible for assisting students with identified needs in a variety of academic and social settings and ensuring the students' safety and those with whom they are in contact on a daily basis. Duties also include instructing students individually and in groups, managing student behavior plans, maintaining daily records of student behavior, and assisting teacher in preparation of instructional materials and clerical duties.

Location:

Lochbuie, CO Education or formal training:
High school diploma or GED Required Proof of either an Associate's Degree or 2 years (48 credit hours) at an institute of higher education preferred General background check and fingerprints required prior to hire

Experience:

Technology experience and training preferred Previous work with student support preferred Benefits/Salary:
Full-time, 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday based on provided work schedule (approximately 169 work days per school year). Actual number of days prorated based on start date. $17.50 per hour or higher per the  Classified Pay Range Schedule. Placement based on experience. May receive up to 10 years credit for experience within the previous 13 years. Automatic Enrollment into Colorado PERA retirement Plan Medical, Dental and Vision insurance available.
