Special Education Teacher - Brighton

• Valid Special Education teaching license, or eligibility for certification
• Experience working with K-8 students in inclusive or self-contained classrooms
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability and creativity in instructional planning and student engagement

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) utilizing best practices in special education
• Provide direct instruction to students, both in small groups and individualized settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Modify curriculum and instructional techniques to address students unique learning needs
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records as required by school policies
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current with educational standards and practices

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position within a supportive K-8 school committed to student growth and staff development. The role offers the chance to build meaningful relationships and contribute to a positive school culture.
