* Job Description:

** Under the supervision of the Director of Hotel Operations the Bowling Alley Attendant is responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable bowling experience for patrons. Their duties include assisting customers with lane assignments, shoe rentals, and other front-of-house tasks, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the bowling equipment and lanes. They also handle cash transactions, operate scoring systems, and may serve refreshments.
** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS****:
** May include but are not limited to:
* Greets customers, assigns lanes, provides instructions, and answers questions.
* Cleans lanes, ball returns, and surrounding areas.
* Operates pinsetters, resets scores, and reports maintenance issues.
* Manages cash register, handles credit card payments, and processes sales.
* May assist with snack bar operations, event setup, and other tasks as needed.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Friendly, outgoing, and able to interact effectively with diverse customers.
* Ability to handle cash transactions and make change.
* May be required to lift, move, and clean equipment.
* Works collaboratively with other staff members.
* May be required to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Familiarity with the rules of bowling and equipment operation.
** WORK ENVIRONMENT****:
** May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment characteristics described here may be representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
