Apply Now## Description As an Inventory Control and Purchasing Administrator, you will advise both management and sales staff on the best direction to take when making procurement and inventory management decisions. You will be working as an expert for branch location staff to utilize as a resource leveraging your knowledge of Inventory Management Fundamentals, our Company Values, and the specific policies and processes we adhere to.

Heavy duty, medium duty, and trailer parts experience favorable, having excellent customer service skills, being a good steward for Transwest, cross-selling departments, utilizing and managing all company resources, meeting departmental objectives and being above all reproach.

Schedule shifts will be determined by your direct supervisor and are subject to change at any time with or without prior notice in support of servicing customer expectations at the sole discretion of Transwest.

The Inventory Control Administrator will actively service all parts products that the Company distributes without prejudice or preconception.

To effectively service parts for the company the Inventory Control Administrator must acquire knowledge about different facets of the business. They must display an ongoing effort to learn more about the industry, the company and the products Company sells. The responsibility for this education is primarily Inventory Control Administrator.

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude. The Inventory Control Administrator will always present a professional, clean, and well-groomed appearance. The appropriate attire requires slacks and a Company logoed shirt.

All other duties as assigned by the officer, director, parts manager, or supervisor.

* Document customer quality issues as they arise and work with the team to resolve issues in a cost-effective and expeditious manner.
* Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
* Effectively communicate with customers any relevant policies and/or procedures regarding purchases, returns, credit terms, processes.
* Effectively communicate with customers to ensure objective, ask pertinent open-ended questions and provide information to assist customers and ensure that we provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
* Follow-up on customer orders and resolve problems with the customer’s satisfaction.
* Greet and receive customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
* Maintain quality service by following organizational standards.
* Provide elite customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with their inquiries and purchases and by efficiently processing their orders.
* Provide troubleshooting support and service to customers experiencing problems in the field and selling repair parts as needed.
