Travel Cath Lab​/EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a CV Invasive Specialist for a Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and prior cardiology experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's degree preferred
• 1 year of experience in the specialty is required, with 2 years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred
• Registered ARRT required, or RCIS required within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV specific certification or RCES
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required and must not expire before start date
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting supporting invasive cardiovascular procedures
• 5x8 day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting
• Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures under RN supervision
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and act as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor/document procedure images and events from the control room
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and pre/post procedure care
• Maintain unit cleanliness and appropriate stock levels for procedures
• Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation per department standards
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
• Radiation badges must be supplied by the vendor
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
