• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Required Credentials:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Fluoroscopy Certification.

Preferred Skills/

Experience:

- Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.

Preferred Credentials:

- Associate's degree preferred.

Unit Details:

- Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

- Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN.

- Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and serves as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions.

- Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room to monitor and document procedure images and events.

- Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and pre- and post-procedure expectations.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, RCES
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
