The Batch Plant Operator is responsible for accurately batching concrete, operating equipment, and supporting daily plant operations. This role works closely with Production and Quality teams while maintaining safety standards and troubleshooting issues to ensure efficient, high-quality output.
Salary range $25-$27/Hour. Based on experience.

- Coordinate with Production and Quality Control to ensure accurate batching and documentation.
- Operate batching equipment, forklifts, loaders, trucks, and crane‑ways.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance in partnership with Maintenance.
- Order and manage materials for batch plant operations.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries with external vendors.
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures and policies.
- Batch concrete accurately based on job specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous process improvements.
- Perform basic calculations for mix designs and material quantities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the mixer area and inspect equipment regularly.
We’re looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Batch Plant Operator who takes pride in producing high‑quality work in a safe and efficient environment. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, mechanically inclined

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and leadership.
- Basic math skills, including ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Knowledge of materials and products used in batching operations.
- Adaptable and open to process improvements and operational changes.
- Ability to lead with professionalism, respect, and accountability.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use.
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently.
