Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ED experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of ED/emergency nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
• Current AHA ACLS certification required (must not expire prior to start date)
• ENPC, NRP, and/or PALS certifications as appropriate
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Emergency Department (ED) at an acute care hospital in Brighton, CO
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Executes delegated medical functions and reviews treatment plans in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and valid through the assignment start date
