TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients’ immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.

Should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Lift up to 20 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Work in a fast‑paced environment with potentially confused, agitated, or uncooperative patients.

• BLS certification, minimum 1 year experience.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend. Total Med Travel Job .
