Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

Overview

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Brighton, CO, requiring 1 year of L&D experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

• Active CO RN license or compact license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

• Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic EMR charting system used
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Former permanent staff of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• All certifications must be AHA-issued and submitted as copies for consideration
