American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact license and prior ED specialty experience.

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Uses Epic for charting
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NRP as appropriate for the unit
• ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system
• Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with a firm document due date
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment

The $2,423 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
