DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact license and prior ED specialty experience.
Details- Emergency Department setting within a hospital
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Uses Epic for charting
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Active RN license (CO or compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NRP as appropriate for the unit
- ENPC and TNCC certifications preferred
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system
- Background check and drug screen results required prior to start, with a firm document due date
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment

Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
