Compensation Pay Range: $14.81 - $21.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate equals or exceeds the local minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums, which can vary by schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations.
  • Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence or during opposing shifts.
  • Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  • Supervise customer‑service levels on the retail showroom, including execution of customer‑service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
  • Ensure adequate staffing of the retail sales counter, especially during peak hours (lunch, late‑afternoons, evenings, weekends).
  • Assist the store manager in setting team‑member goals, providing feedback, coaching, and ensuring training is current.
  • Assist in the hiring process: perform recruiting tasks, schedule and participate in interviews, evaluate candidates, and collaborate with management for qualified selections.
  • Maintain phone operations in accordance with company policy.
  • Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub‑to‑store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and notify customers of shipments.
  • Use the electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
  • Process retail returns, exchanges, refunds, and merchandise staging in an efficient, friendly manner.
  • Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before products leave the store.
  • Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
  • Enforce company policies, posted schedules, approval for changes, and proper time‑keeping.
  • Perform all store opening/closing duties, day‑end procedures, money and deposit security, bank deposits, security alarms, and vehicle procedures.
  • Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, signage, lighting, hardware, service equipment, and delivery vehicles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • RSS Certification
Desired Certifications
  • Certified Parts Professional Certification
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
