Armed Security Officer

Securitas seeks Full Time Armed Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets at client sites. In this role you will conduct foot and vehicle patrols, control access, monitor entrances, respond to alarms and incidents, and enforce site policies with professionalism and integrity. Officers observe and report safety or security concerns, complete detailed incident reports, and provide visible, courteous customer service.

You'll operate security technology, follow post orders and emergency procedures, and collaborate with site contacts and team members. Securitas offers structured training, certifications, and advancement opportunities into supervisory and specialist roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols of assigned client sites
• Control access, verify identification, and monitor entry/exit points
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents according to post orders
• Observe, detect, and report safety or security hazards and suspicious activity
• Complete accurate, timely incident and daily activity reports
• Operate radios, surveillance systems, and other security technology
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to clients and visitors
• Enforce site rules, regulations, and client-specific policies
• Follow use-of-force, firearms safety, and de-escalation protocols
• Support emergency procedures, evacuations, and coordination with public safety
