We’re looking for a Laborer II Telecom Underground to join our team and help connect America. The Laborer will complete general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor. Duties may include all phases of underground construction such as loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes and weights of construction materials and equipment.

• Perform highly skilled construction tasks such as loading, delivering, excavating, and operating advanced equipment for underground projects.
• Install and maintain complex underground telecommunications cable with precision and adherence to project specifications.
• Operate and inspect construction equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to align on project objectives.
• Complete and submit detailed daily production reports to track progress.
• Assist with site restoration efforts, including final grading and landscaping, to meet client expectations.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Level I laborers as needed to support projects.
• Work in all weather conditions to meet project deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment, utility trucks, or performing similar tasks.
• Valid standard driver’s license or Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and company drug screening.
• Must attend and pass all required training.
• May be required to work overtime, after hours, weekends, evenings, holidays, or be on call as needed.
• Regular and timely attendance is essential.
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills and proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Proficiency with basic operational tasks, data entry, record maintenance.
• Knowledge of utility equipment and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and ability to read utility maps and prints.
• Lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Ability to work in remote locations, confined spaces, and with heavy machinery.

• Routine work alone in remote locations and confined spaces with arms above shoulder level; operate vehicles and heavy machinery; tasks requiring fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting >55 lbs.
• Occasional use of ladder, keyboard, and mouse.
• Exposure to dust, fumes, airborne pathogens, toxic or corrosive chemicals, moving machinery parts.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth; ability to adjust focus.

The Laborer Telecom Underground II hourly wage range is $18.75–$23.55 depending on experience.
