ALLO Residential Installation Technician

Job Overview

Installation and Repair Technician – Residential fiber internet, TV, and phone. Provide on‑site installation, maintenance, and customer education. Colorado residents earn $20–$23 per hour, depending on experience.

• Perform installation and repair of residential fiber internet, TV and phone services.
• Run and terminate fiber inside customer premises.
• Connect fiber to ONT and MST when needed.
• Educate customers on products and services.
• Cross‑train to other functions as required.
• Accept periodic assignments that involve travel away from immediate home office area.
• Maintain inventory of common items on company vehicle for daily tasks.
• Maintain company tools and equipment.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree or 2–4 years of equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of telecommunications experience.
• 1+ year of residential installation experience.
• Testing and terminating Cat5 and Cat6 wiring experience.
• Knowledge of wireless networking and wireless devices.
• Team player with clean and neat appearance.
• Strong communication skills to demonstrate products to customers.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen.
• General knowledge of Microsoft and Apple operating systems.
• Basic understanding of network routing and wireless basics.
• Logical problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Wire fishing, pulling, and ladder use.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Flexible with tasks, schedule, and occasional on‑call availability.
• Safe handling of products and company‑issued equipment/tools.
• Accuracy in paperwork: timesheets, change orders, delivery tickets.
• Travel outside home office area for extended periods when required.
• Technical curiosity and innovative problem‑solving attitude.
