HVAC Technician

Pearce is a leading technology‑enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission‑critical electromechanical infrastructure across North America. The company specializes in technical maintenance, repair, operations, and engineering services for UPS systems, backup generators, BESS, cooling systems, and other electrical and mechanical infrastructure for markets such as renewable energy, telecom, and data centers.

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC package units on cell tower sites. This fast‑paced role is ideal for individuals who are self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and eager to grow in the telecom industry.

Location:

Denver, Colorado (residents only). The role is regional.

• Maintain commercial package cooling systems on cell‑tower sites, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, or replacing components.
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform maintenance or upgrades on seasonal HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑outs.
• Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and in compliance with the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (required).
• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Must reside in the Denver, Colorado area.
• Available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel with independent work structure.
• Occasional overnight stays (company pays travel costs and provides $50 per diem per night).
• Drive to remote work sites as required.
• Work outdoors under ambient temperatures.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• May need to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). salary of $62,400 up to $98,000 annual salary/DOE. Total compensation includes wages, performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, or other applicable compensation. Full‑time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package (health and life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, professional development). Base pay range: $30 USD – $43 USD (for entry‑level or junior positions).
