This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret and/or CBP/DHS suitability level.

Vantor is currently seeking a Data Scientist to lead the development of statistical and machine learning models to support our FALCON effort. This role can be performed remotely within the continental United States. The ideal candidate will derive these models to detect kinematic behaviors leveraging live and historical data. Using these models, the candidate will develop and run simulations to inform the development team on approaches to incorporate analytics into the system.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Contributing to the continued research, development, and sustainment of mission-focused software applications, backend services, APIs, data processing workflows, and analytical capabilities. You will support engineers and mission partners by creating and/or refining software applications, maintaining and enhancing existing custom applications, troubleshooting defects, improving performance, contributing to code reviews and technical documentation, and helping deliver reliable capabilities in an agile, remote-first environment.
