Overview

Riverdale Golf Course, located in Brighton, Colorado, features two championship layouts – the Dunes, a Pete and Perry Dye‑designed links‑style course, and the Knolls, a more traditional parkland layout. As one of Colorado's premier municipal facilities, Riverdale offers exceptional golf at an affordable rate to the public, while maintaining high standards in course conditioning, service, and programming. The golf shop is active with daily play, leagues, tournaments, and instruction for players of all skill levels.

The Assistant Golf Professional plays a key role in daily golf operations, working closely with the Head Golf Professional and General Manager. This position includes responsibilities in customer service, tournament coordination, golf shop management, and instructional support. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, reliable, and committed to providing a first‑class experience to our guests.

• Previous experience in golf course operations or golf shop service.
• Enrolled in or interested in pursuing PGA membership preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of golf rules, formats, and etiquette.
• Proficiency with POS systems, tee sheet management, and tournament software (or willingness to learn).

• Customer Service :
  Greet and assist guests with check‑in, tee times, merchandise, and general inquiries.
• Golf Shop Operations :
  Maintain a clean and organized retail space, manage inventory restocking, and execute daily sales transactions.
• Tournament Support :
  Assist with planning and executing leagues, corporate outings, and public tournaments, including scoring and setup.
• Instruction :
  Support group clinics and assist with individual lessons when applicable. (Junior and beginner programming especially encouraged.)
• Practice Facility Oversight :
  Monitor range ball inventory, maintain cleanliness, and ensure range equipment is functional.
• Cart & Starter Duties :
  Assist with staging and cleaning golf carts, starter responsibilities, and pace‑of‑play monitoring.
• Teamwork :
  Work collaboratively with the Head Golf Professional and General Manager to create a seamless guest experience.
