Local Class A CDL Driver - Brighton, CO
REIC Rentals, based in Brighton, CO, is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver designated equipment as assigned while ensuring operators are familiar with the equipment being delivered.
What You Will Do
As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites throughout Colorado's Front Range and Wyoming. You will be responsible for delivering assigned equipment, overseeing the safe loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring operators are familiar with the equipment upon delivery, and recording and reporting the condition of equipment upon delivery and retrieval.
In addition, you will:
Maintain a clean truck and complete daily and weekly inspections.
Monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.
Ensure all equipment deliveries are completed safely and professionally.
Maintain accurate documentation related to equipment and vehicle inspections.

A Typical Day May Include
Conducting and documenting pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Observing and reporting mechanical issues and safety concerns
Maintaining vehicle appearance through regular cleaning and washing
Maintaining all required certifications, inspections, and medical compliance documentation
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
Top Candidates Will Have
A valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
Ability to pass forklift, aerial work platform (AWP), and propane training tests
A strong commitment to workplace safety
Additional Qualifications
Ability to take instruction and understand goals, procedures, and processes
Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including occasional Saturdays
Ability to complete additional duties as assigned
Ability to understand and perform job-related duties communicated in both verbal and written formats
Comfortable working independently with limited supervision when required
Physical Demands
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day
Percentage of Workday
Standing: 10%
Walking: 10%
Sitting: 80%
