Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety above all else and comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle.
- Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job‑site environment.
- Deliver products to customer sites and branch locations, unloading as needed.
- Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
- Perform additional related duties such as stocking, order entry, shipping, and receiving.
- Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms.
- Valid CDL license – Class A or
B. - Safe driving record with no hit‑and‑runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and management.
- Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus.
- HAZMAT endorsement is an asset.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Forklift experience helpful. Other truck experience (e.g., Moffett) acceptable.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis.
- Pass a background check, pre‑employment drug test, and DOT physical.
Base salary range: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (starting wage may vary). Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime and performance‑based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses per company travel policy.
