    Reporting directly to finance leadership, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, operational accounting, and business analysis. The Senior Accountant's Responsibilities
  • Own assigned aspects of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and account analysis.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules, and bank reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial results and investigate account fluctuations and variances.
  • Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and unusual transactions.
  • Review corporate credit card activity and ensure proper coding and documentation.
  • Assist with cash forecasting and liquidity reporting.
  • Support external audit requests and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams as needed, including collection support.
  • Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
  • Participate in special projects, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
  • Proven balance sheet reconciliation and journal entry experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, LOOKUP functions, and large data set analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with project-based, construction, field service, or similar operational environments is a plus.
  • ERP experience preferred.
