Athenahealth is seeking a Vice President of Business Operations, Customer Success to lead operational strategy and execution for our customer-facing teams. You will design and optimize processes, analytics, and tooling that enhance adoption of our cloud-based EHR and revenue cycle solutions, strengthen client relationships, and drive retention and growth. Partnering with Product, Sales, and Clinical teams, you will align operations to clinical and financial outcomes, lead cross-functional initiatives, manage high-performing teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead business operations strategy for Customer Success to improve adoption, retention, and expansion
- Design and optimize scalable processes, tooling, and playbooks for customer-facing teams
- Develop and own KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to drive data-informed decisions
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Clinical teams to align operations to client outcomes
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve onboarding, support, and lifecycle management
- Manage and develop a high-performing operations team
- Drive continuous improvement and change management across customer success workflows
- Forecast and manage budgets, headcount, and resource allocation for CS operations
