Athenahealth seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Manager to lead FP&A support for our healthcare technology business. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, partnering with business and product leaders to drive profitable growth. Responsibilities include building financial models, analyzing revenue and cost drivers, preparing management reports and dashboards, and supporting strategic decisions and investments. You will mentor analysts, improve planning processes and tools, and translate complex financial data into clear insights that shape how Athenahealth advances healthcare through cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning cycles
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for revenue, costs, and margin
- Partner with business and product leaders to evaluate initiatives and investments
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights
- Support strategic planning and scenario analysis for growth opportunities
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and data quality
- Guide and mentor FP&A analysts to elevate team capabilities
- Collaborate with Accounting and other functions to ensure financial accuracy
- Present financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership
