Mental Health Specialist (Full-Time)

Mental Health Specialists partner with the clinical team to provide therapeutic care and help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children, adolescents, and families. In this role, you will build skills in psychiatric care, trauma-informed practice, and crisis intervention while making a meaningful impact in patients' day-to-day experiences.

Successful candidates engage with residents in a therapeutic manner that supports adaptive coping, emotional regulation, and life skills development through implementation of individualized treatment goals. Responsibilities include supporting patients during therapeutic groups, school activities, recreation, and daily living routines within the hospital setting.

Multiple full-time positions available, including:

• Rotating schedules
• Day/Evening rotations
• Overnight-only positions
• 32 or 40 hours/week available

At Franciscan Children's, our inpatient psychiatry and short-term residential programs provide specialized behavioral health care for children and adolescents.
