At Franciscan Children's, our Medical Social Workers are vital members of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping children with complex medical and rehabilitation needs achieve the best possible outcomes. If you're passionate about supporting children and families through challenging times, we'd love to have you join our team.

Provide psychosocial assessments, therapeutic support, and crisis intervention for patients and families.

Connect families with community resources and coordinate care across the continuum.

Lead family meetings and contribute to discharge planning and care conferences.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, child life specialists, psychologists, and community partners.

Serve as a liaison with agencies such as DCF when appropriate.

Promote trauma-informed, family-centered care.

Required:

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Massachusetts LICSW (or license eligible)
• Experience supporting children and families with complex needs

Preferred:

• Experience in a pediatric or medical setting
• 3 to 5 years of clinical experience (newly licensed clinicians encouraged to apply)
• Interest in supervising social work students or clinicians
