Requirements:
- MA License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- 2 years of RN ICU experience with multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Telemetry experience required; must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in the ICU, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
- Communicate with various healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
- Update and manage patient records and enter computerized data accurately.
- Follow guidelines and policies established by the nursing department.
- Assist the leadership team in quality improvement projects as needed.
