Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule:

PM - 12hr shifts, 36hr Nights, Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Requirements:

• MA License
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification
• 2 years of RN ICU experience with multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT)
• Basic computer proficiency
• Telemetry experience required; must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care in the ICU, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with various healthcare team members, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records and enter computerized data accurately.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by the nursing department.
• Assist the leadership team in quality improvement projects as needed.
