Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday.

Hours:

36 Contract Weeks: 13

2 years of RN experience in a multi-specialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT)

Nursing degree:
Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred)

MA License

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer proficiency

Telemetry experience and ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.

Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families.

Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.

Update and manage patient records and enter computerized data/information.

Follow established guidelines and policies.

Assist in quality improvement projects as needed.
