Registered Nurse – ICU

Brighton, MA | Intensive Care Unit

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a 38-bed multi-specialty ICU, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and their families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records, entering and interpreting computerized data and information
• Follow nursing department guidelines and policies
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects as needed; may be required to float to Med/Surg

• Minimum 2 years of RN ICU experience in a multi-specialty ICU setting (CCU, SICU, MICU, Neuro, or CT ICU)
• Nursing degree:
  Diploma, ASN, or BSN
• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Telemetry experience required; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
• Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be placed at a local rate

• BSN degree preferred
• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties (CCU, SICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, CT ICU)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency with electronic health records

• Work within a collaborative, dedicated nursing team in a large multi-specialty ICU environment focused on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care
