Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to service light commercial customers. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems for light commercial customers
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and performance testing on coolers, freezers, and walk-in units
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems using gauges, meters, and digital tools
• Recover, evacuate, charge, and leak-test refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and recommendations in work order systems
• Communicate clearly with customers about findings, options, and proper equipment care
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures while working on-site and in confined spaces
• Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and other technicians to complete jobs efficiently
• Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current on equipment and best practices
