Accounts Payable Specialist

Seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Brighton. This position is fully onsite. Pay up to $27/hr depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment in Microsoft Dynamics
• Print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks.
• Distributes signed checks as required.
• Answers all vendor inquiries.
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and accounts payable files.
• Assists Controller and division personnel as necessary.
• Prepares cleared checks for storage.
• Assists in monthly closings.
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
• Performs filing and copying.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Must meet the following to be considered:

• 3+ years of accounts payable and problem solving in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
• Planning/organizing—the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
• Quality control—the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
• Quantity—meets productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
