This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brighton, MI, for an Estimator Pre Construction Leader. The role involves overseeing the preconstruction process, preparing detailed estimates, budgets, and project schedules, and collaborating with various teams to identify and manage project scopes and resources. Key responsibilities include reviewing design documents, managing bid processes, coordinating subcontractor and vendor solicitation, and ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.
The Estimator Pre Construction Leader will also provide technical expertise to support strategy development and maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project estimating, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting
- Experience with construction project planning, scope development, and scheduling
- Knowledge of construction materials, labor, and methodologies, especially in civil, structural, or mechanical disciplines
- Proven ability to manage subcontractor and vendor relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial construction estimating or preconstruction leadership roles
- Commitment to safety and quality in project execution
