Your Work Schedule- Monday: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
- Tuesday: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
- Thursday: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:45 am – 2:00 pm
As a Hygiene Assistant, you’ll collaborate with our practice team to provide outstanding clinical support, ensuring patients receive the care they need. You’ll prepare patients for treatment, assist the hygienist/dentist in restorative procedures, and maintain a high standard of care and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance to the dental hygienist to prepare the room, seat patients, and document patients’ visits.
- Record and review patients’ health history, make chart entries under the direction of the doctor or hygienist, and assure completion of all necessary forms and signatures.
- Educate patients on their treatment plans and help maintain their oral health.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal skills and establishing positive relationships with our team and patients.
- Communicate professionally both orally and in writing with a service‑oriented approach.
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on‑the‑job training.
- 1–5 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Radiography/X‑Ray certification (state‑specific).
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
