About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Teller to join our Brighton branch team. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service and working in a collaborative, hands‑on environment. As a Teller
, you will process financial transactions accurately, assist members with inquiries, and support branch operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Issue debit cards and assist with back‑office tasks such as reports and general support.
  • Handle walk‑in and drive‑thru transactions in rotation.
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer daily, ensuring compliance with security procedures.
  • Assist other departments when needed (Loans, Accounting, Member Services, etc.).
  • Answer phone calls and member inquiries, referring to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and regulations.
  • Participate in branch opening and closing procedures.
  • Complete required training and stay current on regulations.
Work Schedule & Environment
  • Hours:

    Monday‑Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (no Saturdays).
  • 1‑hour lunch and one 15‑minute break daily.
  • Business casual dress code (no jeans). Occasional dress‑down days.
  • Small, supportive team environment.
Training & Orientation
  • Hands‑on training at the Brighton branch.
  • Initial days include paperwork and shadowing.
  • Online training modules and compliance education provided.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Previous cash‑handling or customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to branch procedures.

Pay and Benefits
