Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Brighton, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals by assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence in a respectful and supportive environment.

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility and transfer tasks safely.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
• Support clients with medication reminders and adherence.
• Perform light housekeeping and errands to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to supervisory staff.
• Maintain accurate records of care and services provided.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and team members.

• Previous experience in direct care or home health is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus.

• Competitive pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour, paid twice a month.
