CNC Operator - 3rd shift

Job Description

Micro Gauge in Brighton is seeking CNC Operators to tend to and operate lathe/milling machines to machine surfaces of metal work pieces to specifications according to the job book instructions.

Pay:
From $23.50 per hour paid weekly. Hourly rate: $20.50 with a potential $3 an hour for all hours worked for 110% of production number.

• Meeting production and scrap goals
• Inspecting machined parts for surface defects and verifying conformance to specifications provided in job book instructions using measuring instruments
• Changing tools and making offsets to machines as needed
• Reporting hourly production, scrap and downtime on appropriate form

• Ability to perform offsets on CNC machines
• Previous opt 10 and opt 20 experience
• Ability to use gauges
• Standing and repetitive bending and twisting
• Verifiable long-term work history
• Good work ethic including being on time and at work as scheduled
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Operators are required to wear steel-toed boots
• Must be able to pass a background test and drug screen

3rd shift 11 pm to 7 am Monday-Thursday OT available
