Job Description
Biovire (Formerly Bryllan) is hiring a Production Supervisor to supervise and support all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing at the Brighton facility.
The duties of the Production Supervisor cover all aspects of production, including but not limited to:
Dispensing, Formulation, Aseptic Filling, and Packaging. The Supervisor supports and empowers production personnel, ensuring a clean, safe workplace and quality production of drug product adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A Production Supervisor is a member of the Operations team, responsible for the safe, efficient, and routine manufacturing of drug product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversight and enforcement of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), company policies, Quality standards, and regulatory requirementsSupervision of personnel execution of manufacturing unit operationsMaintain efficiency and control over the manufacturing schedule, ensuring on-time delivery of product to our customersPractice and promote safe work habits, ensuring a clean, safe workplace for production personnel.Ensure quality standards and best practices are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.Train and develop production personnelCreate, review, and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) regarding all aspects of manufacturing.Utilize manufacturing knowledge and experience to revise and improve procedures and processes.Represent production department to internal and external customers as neededPerform and oversee routine completion of production documentation, including the Manufacturing Batch Record.Maintain positive working relationships with manufacturing customers and manufacturing support functionsBehavioral Expectations
Strong work ethic and ability to accomplish tasks without supervision.Demonstrate leadership both by words and leading by example to foster Bryllan One Team culture.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cooperate with others in a high-performance setting.Basic computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office applications).Strong mathematical and organizational skills.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Must possess honesty and integrity, commitment to the highest legal and ethical standards.Ability to treat every person with courtesy and respect.Demonstrate ownership and accountability to production schedule without compromising product quality.Knowledge of fundamental cGMP and regulatory principles.WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred but not required.
Four-year degree in Biology, Chemistry, related Life Science, or equivalent preferred but not required.
Employment at Bryllan (Biovire) is contingent upon a successful Background check.
